I'M AN ORIGINAL CATCHPHRASE
Dashwood Llewellin Setters
Dashwood Llewellin Setters was established in 1992. Dashwood Llewellins are bred for the foot hunter in mind. They are companion dogs that thrive on being your buddy. Dashwood Llewellins are known to train very easily and it is said they train themselves. The unique attribute of a Dashwood is that the dog hunts for you not for itself. Dashwood dogs range about 200 yards – more or less. Dashwood Llewellins are used to hunt primarily for quail in the Southeast United States, Texas and the Midwest, but adjust to pheasant and other game birds at ease. Are you ready to make a Dashwood Llewellin your next hunting dog?

Hunting
Llewellin Setters are known for being hard-working, methodical hunters that are always close to their hunting partner. They are also known for being good at finding birds and not getting lost.
Family dogs
Loyal, affectionate, and have a calm demeanor. They are also athletic and playful enough to keep up with kids, but are generally aware of their surroundings.
Trainability
Quick to learn and highly trainable, but can be stubborn and manipulative. Consistent training, especially when they are young, is most effective.
